Dr. Bilal Shamsi, D.P.M, FACFAS
Board Certified Foot & Ankle Specialist
A native Houstonian, Dr. Bilal Shamsi grew up in northwest Houston. He attended Texas A&M University and completed his graduate degree at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. He received his surgical residency training at one of the nation’s oldest and prestigious academic teaching hospitals, The University of Cincinnati Medical Center. While at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, Dr. Shamsi had the honor of serving as Chief Resident during his final year of training. He then practiced in a heavily underserved area of northern Kentucky with a major hospital system.
Dr. Shamsi has also helped to virtually train the next generation of physicians by co-founding and developing BoardWizards.com, which provides board review nationwide to foot and ankle surgeons in training. He is glad to be back home in Houston, where he can share (greatly) crafted dad-jokes and his extensive experience to benefit greater Houston area residents. Aside from the satisfaction he gains from seeing patients get back on their feet, Dr. Shamsi enjoys his family, traveling, and Peloton.
